Our analysts build distributor profiles from regulatory registers, company filings and primary research. Sometimes that record is out of date, and occasionally it is wrong. Claiming your profile and correcting it costs nothing, because an accurate database is worth more to us than a claiming fee.
Adding a company we have not researched is a different job. It needs verifying before it can sit alongside profiles our analysts have checked, otherwise the standard the whole database rests on stops meaning anything. That verification is part of what the annual fee covers.
If you are not taking on new principals right now, claim your profile and leave it there. That is a perfectly good outcome and it costs nothing.
